Carnot Game Description
Carnot Game is an engaging game centered around the Carnot Cycle, where the participant is required to alternate among three thermal sources (hot, insulator, and cold) to optimize the performance exerted on the piston of a cylinder. The objective is to maintain the piston functioning within the ideal Carnot cycle, executing the transitions between sources at the appropriate times to prevent the cylinder from bursting or freezing. The closer the participant is to the Carnot cycle, the greater their score and advancement.
The player needs to click the button to alternate between the thermal sources of the system, ensuring to make the transitions at the right moments to prevent the piston from seizing or the cylinder from exploding. The Carnot cycle comprises four thermodynamic processes.
